This book is certainly worth the $2.99 Kindle Price. The author had a unique way of writing that showed a great deal of promise. I hope that he will continue to write and hone his craft! It does need a little editing. The ending was so sad! He spent 1/4 of the book writing about his feet, but I can understand!Although this book was not upbeat, it was very realistic - and I think future pilgrims need to be aware that shoes fall apart; packs are overloaded; you can get lost and that the journey doesn't always result in a happy ending.

Not my type of Camino Book,Too much ,"whining", but it still was OK. Perhaps this person should have drank some of the Spainish Wine with his meals!
A great intro to someone thinking about doing The Camino he Southern route. Humorous and entertaining as well. Well done.
I have been planning to do the Via de la Plata route of St James Way (having done the main route, the Camino francés twice already), but this book served me to decide that the Seville to Salamanca section is on the dull side scenically and has too few facilities for walkers. Nonethles, though the author's writing doesn't highlight this, it has several very interesting cities; these being Sevilla, Mérida, Cáceres and Salamanca.
